Thriving Weld Quarterly Meetings
On a quarterly basis, the Thriving Weld backbone organizations of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment, North Range Behavioral Health, North Colorado Health Alliance, and United Way of Weld County host a meeting to bring together community partners. Each year, Thriving Weld also puts on its annual Thriving Weld Summit.
The Thriving Weld Quarterly Meetings and Annual Summit allow for the sharing of data, ideas, and updates and are a time for partners to collaborate on new strategies for improving the health of Weld County. The purpose of these events include:
- Identification of shared goals across sectors for more integrated and efficient responses and allocation of resources.
- A deeper comprehension of the challenges within Weld communities.
- Improved collaboration, trust, and networking among sectors for stronger partnerships and enhanced stability and sustainability of initiatives.
- A pooling of resources and data to support informed decisions within the coalition and among our partners.

During this gathering, coalition members will take part in the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) prioritization process. This is an important opportunity for our partners to come together, share perspectives, and help select the final priority areas that will shape the next Weld County CHIP.
Nearly 90 people joined us for the first Thriving Weld Quarterly Meeting of 2026. The United Way of Weld County (UWWC) provided a special presentation about the early childhood landscape in Weld County.
Approximately 160 people, representing over 40 organizations, attended this year’s Thriving Weld Annual Summit hosted on November 5th at the University of Northern Colorado. The theme of this year’s Summit was “Thriving Through Uncertainty”.
